Drew & Rogers offset printed labels are great for clients that want full color print labels or photo quality labels, which aren’t compatible with screen printing or flexographic printing. Offset printed labels work well to show graphical gradients, shadows, and photographs by using photo-sensitive printing plates.
The image is then coated with ink and transferred to a rubber blanket applied to a drum. The offset labels are then transferred, again, to the material of choice passing through the press resulting in very high quality full color print labels. The image quality of offset printing is typically 300 lines per inch versus 100 LPi for screen printing or 150 LPi for flexo printing.
